This morning, 300 runners boarded buses from Heartbreak Newton, Mile 20 of the Boston Marathon, to the starting line. Once assembled on the Hopkinton Town Green, Coach Dan hopped on the hood of the new rig and talked about our Boston Marathon theme: Do It Here.
Channeling the spirit of Boston, the city that brought the first public school to America, the first large free municipal public library, the first subway, and of course, the first marathon. Do It Here also implies an urgency and self belief.
Hyped and ready, the squad ran the first half of the Boston course. Check the photos here. Credit @heartbreak.run & @fidel.is.cool.
