Discover Boston Public Library with Heartbreak
The Heartbreakers have joined the Boston Public Library, for the unveiling of the BPL Passport which highlights several BPL branches around the city! Register here.
BPL created a passport map to incentivize movement across the city’s neighborhoods. At each location, participants will receive a stamp specific to the branch they visited. Though we will not visit all the BPL branches across the city, all are encouraged to go back and collect all the stamps to complete their passport.
Heartbreakers will offer guided routes (ranging from 1-6 miles, paced at 10:00/mile) from BPL locations (listed below) for participants to walk/run/bike from the start location to other BPL locations then finishing with a warm reception at Roxbury branch.
Route 1: Honan-Allston Branch (300 N Harvard St, Allston) -> Central Branch -> South End Branch -> Roxbury Branches: 6 miles
Route 2: Parker Hill Branch (1497 Tremont St, Roxbury) -> Roxbury Branch: 0.8 Family Route
Route 3: West End Branch (151 Cambridge St, Boston) -> Chinatown Branch -> Central Branch -> South End Branch -> Roxbury Branch: 4.0 miles
Route 4: Roslindale Branch (4246 Washington St, Roslindale) -> Grove Hall Branch -> Roxbury Branch: 5.0 miles
Route 5: Fields Corner Branch (1520 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester) -> Uphams Corner Branch -> Roxbury Branch: 3 miles
Snacks & refreshments served. Travel light. No bag check. All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by a guardian. Tee shirts and SWAG available in limited quantity.
