Coach Jay Murphy is a lifelong athlete and long-time member of the running and outdoor endurance community. He's an experienced coach with 15+ years of coaching, mentoring, and encouraging athletes of all levels, from first-time runners to seasoned road and ultramarathon racers. Jay is also an Investor and Advisor, Heartbreak Hill Running Company.

'My coaching philosophy is rooted in connection, consistency,  and adventure. I believe in personalized training that empowers athletes to unlock their full potential—no matter their background or experience level.  Every training plan is shaped around your goals, your history as an athlete, and your life outside of sport. I view athletics as a lifelong adventure and coaching as a partnership built on trust. I value forming meaningful relationships with athletes, giving them the confidence to dream big.  I’m committed to being an educated, informed, and continually evolving coach."
