For most of us, the hours after the day ends are where we get to pour back into the dreams, and the parts of ourselves that get pushed aside by the day’s to-do list.
This year, we organized the Nike After Dark Tour training journey around the idea of Night School. A space after hours to come together, get curious, and give women the tools to pour back into themselves, and their training.
For our first Night School, we teamed up with Byron Gomez and Dr. Tessa James from Myo Detox.
Instead of just telling runners how to warm up or handing them another list of mobility exercises, we brought everyone into the lab to better understand their bodies. Through an interactive Performance Lab, runners discovered where they might need: more hip stability or mobility, built a personalized five-minute pre-run routine, and left with practical tools to move better, train confidently, and stay healthy all the way to race day. Thank you to the team at Myo for helping us elevate! Stay tuned for more Labs here.
