We spend a lot of time trying to line things up before anything actually happens. Carefully racking together our life events, slight nudges here and there to make it all fit. Before we start something new, it’s the journaling, the worrying, the late-night pep talks, the to-do lists, and the playlist making. The funny part? Once it begins, the break sends everything scattering. Nothing stays in place. It never does. But that preparation phase, even if it feels slow, or invisible...You’re racking the balls. The break will come. And that’s when the game really starts.
