Josh Hoey (USA) – Men’s 800m World Record
Josh Hoey took center stage with one of the standout performances of the meet, smashing the men’s indoor 800m world record with a blistering 1:42.50, dipping under Wilson Kipketer’s long–standing 1997 mark. Paced early by his brother Jaxson Hoey before powering home to etch his name into the record books. 

Hobbs Kessler (USA) – 2000m World Record
Hobbs Kessler lit up the track with a sensational run in the men’s 2000m, stopping the clock at 4:48.79. Beating the previous world record by more than a second and electrifying the crowd. Grant Fisher finished close behind in a time that also bettered the old mark, which was just set yesterday by Cole Hocker

Other Standout Performances

Cameron Myers (AUS) – The young Australian star delivered a stunning men’s 3000m performance, clocking a world-leading and national record time of 7:27.57

Sprint & Hurdle Highlights:

  • Ackeem Blake (JAM) took the men’s 60m in 6.53, showing his top-end speed early in the indoor calendar. 

  • Danielle Williams (JAM) claimed the women’s 60m hurdles with a world-leading 7.87, outpacing a strong international field.

  • Dina Asher-Smith (GBR) roared to victory in the women’s 60m with a time of 7.08, reaffirming her elite status in the short sprints.

 Distance & Mid-Distance Action

Roisin Willis (USA) hit a world-leading 1:59.59 to win the women’s 800m, while Dorcus Ewoi (KEN) topped the women’s 1500m in 4:01.22, both turning in strong, competitive performances.
