Introducing the Nike x Renegade collection.
Renegade was founded in California by former public school educator, Victor Diaz. The footwear collection is inspired by Victor’s Mexican heritage and includes two silhouettes: the maximum cushioning road runner, Vomero Premium, and the original racing super shoe, Vaporfly 4. The rich dark brown base embodies the rebellious spirit of the Renegade brand. Vibrant orange accents reflect Mexican deserts while highlighting key performance innovations like Nike Air Zoom units or carbon Nike Flyplate. The Vomero Premium’s “AIR” graphic has been reimagined based on Renegade’s logo. The Vaporfly 4’s reflective heel tape celebrates Mexico’s historic architecture. Across various elements of the collection, the phrase “Barrios Unidos,” united neighborhoods in English, strives to incite connection and collaboration between communities, including runners, to create a better tomorrow.
The Nike x Renegade footwear collection will be available at Heartbreak Boston and Heartbreak.Run on April 4.
