Race 312

Race 312

This fall, Nike Running is introducing a series of street races across the U.S. during major marathon weekends. Race 312 is Chicago’s chapter.

Race 312 is a relay for Chicago, by Chicago. Powered by Nike Running. Three runners. Three legs. One victor. No frills, no gimmicks, just racing in its purest form. It’s you and your crew against the clock. Against the world. Against anyone bold enough to toe the line two nights before the marathon.

On Friday, October 10, Race 312 lights up Chicago’s West Loop after dark. The format is simple:

  • It starts with a 3K grind.

  • Hands off to a 1K sprint.

  • And ends with a 2K fight to the finish.

Fastest team wins. And in this case, the fastest team takes home a $1,500 cash prize  plus bragging rights heading into marathon weekend.
