On Thursday, August 7th, Boston’s Chestnut Hill Reservoir played host to the first-ever Reservoir Dawgs High School VIP Throw down, an unforgettable blend of speed, competition, and style, brought to life by Heartbreak and Nike.
This 1.6-mile loop race drew the area’s most competitive high school athletes each selected through an exclusive application process. The field was stacked with some of the best up-and-coming talent, all ready to push the pace and own the course.
Every accepted athlete received a custom Heartbreak x Nike Reservoir Dawgs race singlet, and a race bib, ensuring they could flex their fresh gear while throwing down. Nike also hosted a special athlete photo shoot, offered Vomero Plus shoe demos, and provided additional giveaway opportunities, making the atmosphere electric from the moment athletes arrived.
As the sun dipped over the reservoir, the loop became a battleground to find out who had that DAWG in them. The Reservoir Dawgs delivered on its promise: fast racing, fierce competition, and the perfect launch pad for the Nike Vomero Plus, a shoe built for both style and performance.
