Currently began in 2023 out of a lifelong love of running, years spent competing in the sport, and nearly a decade documenting its world through film and photography. We started Currently as a way to express ourselves freely within running — to make something from inside the sport rather than something marketing to it.
What beganthrough photography, film, print, and design has grown into a California-based athletic brand specializing in premium performance garments, shaped by our backgrounds in athletics, filmmaking, music, visual arts, and product design. Through the products we make, the stories we tell, the events we create, and the athletes we support through ©Practice, we hope to explore the more ambient and textured sides of running while contributing something personal and lasting to the culture we grew up in.
Cole Townsend of Running Supply on Currently: Currently Running started through photography, film, print, and design before growing into a performance brand. That shows up in the clothing, but also in the way Currently documents the sport and builds its world around it. The Southern California and track influence are clear in the colors and silhouettes of the brand.
