Simran Jeet Singh Interview | LIVE Wednesday 8:30PM EDT

Simran Jeet Singh is an educator, writer, activist and runner. He is also a member of the Sikh community and has worked tirelessly in advocacy and awareness of Sikhism. He writes and speaks frequently on equity and justice at the intersections of religion, race, discrimination, and civil rights (read more via wikipedia). It makes sense that his indefatigable spirit would lead to marathoning too.

As a child, he looked forward to finding books that featured characters that looked like himself and his family to no avail. Now years later, it is Simran who created the first children's book with a Sikh lead character, Fauja Singh Keeps Going, published by a major American publisher, Penguin Random House.

Simran will sit down for an interview with Dan Fitzgerald this Wednesday at 8:30PM via Heartbreak's Instagram Live. We'll hear about his work, his new book, his life as a runner, and much more. Tune in Wednesday night!
