TR 101 - Intro to Track | Boston

On Wednesday, November 19th at 6:30 PM (SIGN UP HERE), we’re doing something special at the Heartbreak South End. We’re bringing together four of Boston’s most active and energized run crews — Rider Run Club, Castle Island Run Club, Not Yet Named Run Club, and the Heartbreakers — for a night focused on one goal:

Take the intimidation out of track workouts.

For many runners, the track can feel intimidating or exclusive. Splits, pacing, unfamiliar etiquette—it's easy to feel like you don’t belong. But the truth is: the track is for everyone. Whether you're chasing a PR, building consistency, or simply looking for community, the oval is a place where runners of all backgrounds meet as equals, sharing effort and energy.

With the help from three pillars of the Boston Running community, Herm Runs, Connor Coyne, and Nora Johnson, Heartbreak will give runners the opportunity to run their first ever (or most fun) track workout.

What to Expect:

  • A track-inspired workout designed for all levels — no pace too fast, no pace too slow.
  • Crew mingling, warm community vibes, and plenty of high-fives.
  • A chance to meet runners from all corners of the city.
  • Education on how to approach track workouts with confidence—not fear.

Most importantly: no pressure, no expectations, just movement.

Date: Tuesday, November 19th
Time: 6:30 PM (warm-up begins shortly after)
Location: Heartbreak Hill Running Company – South End

Whether you're a seasoned track veteran or someone who has never stepped foot on the oval, this night is for you. Bring a friend. Bring a clubmate. Bring curiosity. Leave with community.
