Light and Resilient
The midsole is made of full-length ZoomX foam, Nike’s lightest and most resilient foam, delivering a high level of energy return with every stride you take.
Lightning Speed
Four permanent spikes help reduce the weight of the plate and creates a wide, flat platform for a stable connection to the track.
Secure Fit
New yarns and a new engineered upper structure enhance breathability and comfort. The conforming fit of the upper give a disappearing sensation that is built to go the distance. We reinforced the heel to help improve overall stability.
Propulsive Feel
Carbon fiber on the midsole unlocks plate response and helps reduce weight. The curved design gives you a propulsive feel.
Stable and Ready
A slightly wider midfoot and forefoot compared to the previous iteration improve the feeling of stability on straightaways and especially around the turns.

Fit for the world's fastest, the Maxfly 2 is back in the starting blocks. Designed for the 100-meter to 400-meters (hurdle events too), it combines an ultra-aggressive feel with the responsiveness of an Air Zoom unit to propel the speediest sprinters on the planet. We updated the base and upper from the previous iteration to help optimize the Air Zoom unit's speed. You also get improved stability and control on both straightaways and turns as you hightail it to the tape.

Built for Speed
Lighter and more responsive than the previous version, the carbon fiber Flyplate's shape and stiffness give you a propulsive feel. It helps keep you on your toes and minimize deceleration.

The forefoot Air Zoom unit has two chambers to give you propulsion and stability from takeoff to the tape.
Stable for Straightaways
We removed the middle spike from the original Maxfly and elevated the platform on the big toe side. This helps the spikes feel more stable on straightaways and around the turn.
Secure Fit
Nike Flyweave construction on the upper provides a secure and conforming fit for various foot shapes.

It combines with a carbon fiber Flyplate and a lightweight, responsive ZoomX foam midsole to give you every speed component you need to smash records.

Innovation Is Our Inspiration
Bill Bowerman, Nike’s original innovator, put our blueprint in place. He inspired the Blueprint collection design details, like the speckled Swoosh logo and sketches of feet on the insole. They remind us of where we’ve been as we keep moving forward.
Stable for Straightaways
Focused on helping keep you stable, the supportive base creates a wider flat area compared to the original Victory on the bottom of the plate. We removed two spikes seen on the original in favor of a four-spike design. And we elevated the big-toe side platform to help the spikes feel more stable on the straightaways and especially around the turns.
Built for Speed
The full-length carbon fiber Flyplate is tuned to match the base of the support system. Its shape and stiffness give a propulsive feel to help keep you on your toes and minimize deceleration. The new plate material is lighter than the previous version.
Ultralightweight Upper
Atomknit, an updated version of Flyknit, has a lightweight, contoured fit and enhanced breathability. It works with a new knit structure and midfoot containment cables to give you an ultralightweight upper.
