What's new? The all-new ReactX foam midsole is 13% more responsive than previous React technology.
Crafted for performance and planet, ReactX foam is engineered to reduce its carbon footprint by at least 43% in a pair of midsoles due to reduced manufacturing process energy compared to prior React foam. The carbon footprint of ReactX is based on cradle-to-gate assessment reviewed by PRé Sustainability B.V and Intertek China. Other midsole components such as airbags, plates, or other foam formulations were not considered.

Fit for the world's fastest, the Maxfly 2 is back in the starting blocks. Designed for the 100-meter to 400-meters (hurdle events too), it combines an ultra-aggressive feel with the responsiveness of an Air Zoom unit to propel the speediest sprinters on the planet. We updated the base and upper from the previous iteration to help optimize the Air Zoom unit's speed. You also get improved stability and control on both straightaways and turns as you hightail it to the tape.

Built for Speed
Lighter and more responsive than the previous version, the carbon fiber Flyplate's shape and stiffness give you a propulsive feel. It helps keep you on your toes and minimize deceleration.
Zoom, Zoom
The forefoot Air Zoom unit has two chambers to give you propulsion and stability from takeoff to the tape.
Stable for Straightaways
We removed the middle spike from the original Maxfly and elevated the platform on the big toe side. This helps the spikes feel more stable on straightaways and around the turn.
Secure Fit
Nike Flyweave construction on the upper provides a secure and conforming fit for various foot shapes.

One of the fastest long-distance track spikes to ever cross the finish line turns up the tempo even more. The Dragonfly 2’s comfortable fit and propulsive feel are built to go the distance in races and key workouts. Updated spikes, full-length ZoomX foam, and a lighter, more responsive plate are ready for speed, stamina, and podiums.

Stable for Straightaways
A slightly wider midfoot and forefoot compared to the previous iteration improves the feeling of stability on straightaways and especially around turns. We removed two spikes seen on the original in favor of a four-spike design. We elevated the big-toe side platform and updated the heel structure for added stability.
Light and Fast
The new full-length plate material is lighter and more responsive than the previous version while adding durability. The curved design gives you a propulsive feel.
Breathable Comfort
Engineered mesh on the upper enhances breathability and comfort. Its conforming fit gives you a disappearing sensation that is built to go the distance.
Energy Return for Your Strides
Full-length ZoomX foam, Nike’s lightest and most resilient foam, provides energy return with each step.
