2026 Boston Training powered by Nike Running | Long Run Guidance

2026 Boston Training powered by Nike Running | Long Run Guidance

Every week, Heartbreak hosts runners in-person in Boston, Chicago, & LA for Boston Marathon training. Not everyone can make the sessions though. In order, to reach our Heartbreakers, non-profit partners, and other athletes training all over the world, Coaches Dan & Marielle send out a Friday intention-setting message ahead of the long runs (watch below). We'll share them here each week. Want to train for Boston with us? Learn more about Boston training powered by Nike Running here.

In-person sessions always include a kick-off with a coach, routes mapped to our two plans, water, and nutrition provided by Maurten (Maurten service begins in week 3).

Still need to register for the run? (rsvp here)

UPDATE @ 4:30PM, Friday, 2/6 from Coach Dan:

"Please note that as of now, tomorrow's run is ON! However, I received the below communication from the city of newton today.

Newton mayor today: "While we keep our eyes on the forecast, I want to let everyone know that we may need to put another Snow Emergency Parking Ban into effect this evening and into tomorrow."

If a parking ban goes into effect, we will be forced to cancel the session.

You will hear from me again only in the event of a cancellation which may not come until tomorrow morning. I will send another note if the run is cancelled.

Hopefully, I'll see you in the morning. Thank you for your understanding. This has been an extremely frustrating winter. 💔"
