What happens when you pile Los Angeles run crew luminaries, digital creators, collegiate athletes, & Heartbreakers into a house in the Lonestar State? Heartbreak House Austin, that's what!
Many miles, fireballs (don't ask), light partying, crime fighting (sort of), and a track workout that had so many fast laps it changed the speed of the earth's rotation (or something like that). We were there in January with friends to make memories and make content. It served as our spring Heartbreak Performance Running Apparel shoot.
Strong vibes all around set the tone. Here's the who's who of Heartbreak House: Starting from the west, Chris & Mayra landed from LA where Chris is a cross-crew VIP who frequents Keep It Run Hundred & KRC while making time to qualify for Boston. Mayra is a Koreatown Run Club OG / Day One member and together they are the First Couple of Los Angeles running. The other house power couple, Joe and Emily make a team of jet setting digital creator & student (Joe) and Butler senior, Love Squad member, and future clinician (Emily). Sarah is also Love Squad member, freshman at Georgia Tech, and one of collegiate running's top Tiktok creators. Sam hits the trends on Tiktok too, all swagger & dude-style while racing for Buffalo and the Love Squad. Fidelis, Gaby, & Kevin are Heartbreak leaders & athletes in from Boston and Chicago who make Heartbreak what it is in the digital space.
Proving as always and above all else that connection is what makes the magic, Heartbreak House Austin made forever memories for this squad.
