STAYFŌC is representing Los Angeles in the Magic Horse Marathon Relay. Chris Focus, the team's founder, is a musician and running man about town. A frequent flyer with Keep It Run Hundred and Koreatown Run Club, he seems like a running lifer but that's not the whole story. Our own Coach Dan caught up with Chris last week and chatted about their mutual love of basketball and their shared court skills that led them straight off the hardwood and onto the roads and the track. Chris competed in cross country and track but never fully embraced running-as-lifestyle until more recently.
Heartbreak's first introduction to Chris was on a group canyon run in LA where the the trio of Conor, Dan, and Chris committed to connect again in Chicago around the marathon (as global run culture members do).
