Do you want to be great? It's a question that the best in our sport ask themselves constantly. This summer, with international competitions in full swing, the inspiration to be like the greats is palpable.
We teamed up with Adidas Running for a creative project, led by our Director of Marketing, Paige Carter, featuring some of the newest racing footwear from Adidas. We tapped in local Boston high school T&F athletes to put the footwear to the test & asked them this very question.
Alex Friedman and Emmett Remis from Newton South High, Juan Talisayon and Jadyn Grant from Newton North High, and Emerson Gould from Acton Boxborough High often reflect on greatness as young and ambitious athletes. During our photoshoot, we captured all of their drive and ambition towards greatness while discussing their goals for the upcoming racing season.
Juan dreams of winning the title as MA state champ in the 400m. Alex is determined to achieve a new personal best in the mile. Jadyn is gearing up to compete in the Heptathlon at MIT. Each athlete shared their unique aspirations, embodying the spirit of striving for greatness.
In the world of running, the tools of our trade are a crucial piece to achieving that greatness. For track athletes, spikes top the list. Adidas recently unveiled a striking black, orange, and pink color way across all of their racing footwear, designed to be seen on the feet of the greats this summer in Boston, Paris and beyond.
