Running needs rockstars too. Mimi Reimers is a Heartbreaker Flyer & Nameless Track Club athlete holding it down in Chicago. She's a former Loyola track star who's fully immersed in Heartbreak world. On the weekend of Friday, 6/3, she was our 3rd year anniversary party bouncer & general party person. On Saturday, she waded through post-party after-effects and that night she broke 5 min in the mile for the first time officially (4:53). Finally, on Sunday, wearing returned/damaged shoes (a "perk"of being around the shop), she ran the first-ever Chicago 13.1 placing 12th overall while stopping to massage her feet and check the blisters "for a couple of minutes."
