The 26.2 x Mile maintained its spot as source of camaraderie among our team and all the clubs in greater Boston (shouts to friends spotted: Trailblazhers, Pioneers, and Back On My Feet). Somerville Road Runners does a great job hosting the event. The race is truly a labor of love for all involved. I assure you, as a person who organizes running things for a living, herding 26.2 runners on the 2nd to last weekend in June is a mighty challenge. Throwing your credit card down to hold the spot is another level of commitment. Organizing all of it FROM YOUR HONEYMOON is next level team love.
