Boston's Bra Run is going virtual this year! To learn more about the perspectives of the people behind this event, Heartbreak coach and co-founder, Dan Fitzgerald is sitting down with the leaders, Frances Ramirez, Liz Rock, and Abeo Christa, this Thursday at 8:30PM ET. These women are leaders all over the Boston running community. Frances is a Captain of Pioneers and marathoner (NYC & CHI). Liz is UNMD run crew co-leader, a Trillfit instructor, a Heartbreak Studio coach, and 4x Marathon Major Finisher (Boston, Chicago, NYC, & London). Abeo is a Heartbreak Studio coach, close friend & highly visible member of all the crews in town, and a sprinter turned marathoner. So, yeah, these 3 run things. A lot of them. Check out the mission statement below & their hype video. We'll go deep Thursday night. Tune in at @heartbreakrunco on Instagram. Register for the Bra Run or donate (you too, fellas) right here.
"The Bra Run was created to promote a multidimensional approach in empowering women of all shapes, colors and backgrounds to celebrate all bodies, EVERY BODY. Through our efforts, we aim to TACKLE and dismantle MAINSTREAM messaging on beauty and womanhood. We EMBRACE our external and internal imperfections. We value and nurture the DIVERSITY in SISTERHOOD. When we UPLIFT and UNITE, we are UNSTOPPABLE."
