Over the weekend, runners in Chicago and Boston challenged the 20 mile distance putting their finishing touches on this marathon mileage build-up. In special sessions powered by Nike Running, Coach Dan in Boston and Coach Luc in Chicago offered advice and things to consider in the kick-off to the monster miles. Guidance covered it all, the mental, the physical, the logistics, and then, of course, runners were sent off with a final "run hard, run smart, have fun, LET'S GO!" Fueling stations went through gallons of water and tons of Maurten. At the end, along with the relief of the finish, coffee, breakfast sandwiches, or Blackbird donuts awaited.
