Marielle is a former D1 5K National Champion at the University of Texas (Austin), 4x All American, 2x World Championship team member, an Olympian, and a 15K Road National Champion. She's the 8th fastest American of all-time in the 10,000m & she's a fierce athlete among fierce athletes, running for the Bowerman Track Club.
Marielle positioned herself as a leading voice in the anti-racist movement. She wrote a deeply affecting and widely shared personal essay for Runner’s World on the subject and continues to speak on it regularly.
