Art of Speed | Chicago

Art of Speed | Chicago

You are invited to join Heartbreak & Nike Running for a community event celebrating the Art of Speed. Join us at the Jones College Prep Track for a one-of-kind gallery experience and race!
Running is individual & it's creative. From Olympians like Clayton Murphy racing in custom "Mamba" spikes, to the undeniable speed & personality of athletes like Sha'Carri Richardson, to the everyday athlete customizing clothing and footwear for racing and for living, the expression of self through running & fashion is at an all-time high.
To celebrate the moment, Heartbreak enlisted leading designer of the customization movement, Greg "The Professor" Itahara, to lead young artists on the intricacies of making customized racing kits. We’ll showcase their work in the shadow of downtown Chicago followed by our "Mob Mile" style races around the track. Lace up your own kicks and test your speed in a mile race. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Join us for a gallery experience showcasing their work in the shadow of downtown Chicago.
