Heartbreak House | Super Track Workout

With a collection of athletes in Austin for Heartbreak House, real track work needed to get done. Our Love Squad collegians Sarah Burwell (Georgia Tech), Emily Royston (Butler), & Matt Persampieri (Buffalo) needed to prepare for their upcoming indoor track seasons. Sam got a little help from Heartbreak's Kevin Gunawan (aka "the human metronome") who ran for Loyola and paced him through the workout. Chris from LA wanted a crack at his first ever D1 level track workout. Shot by Joe Hale.

Workout details:

Sarah Burwell: 2.5 Mile Warm Up, 3x2k (7:44.9, 7:44.1, 7:37.6), 2.5 Mile Cool Down
Matt Persampieri: 3 Mile Warm Up, 5x1k (3:15, 3:10, 3:08, 3:06, 3:06) each rep followed by 400m active jog into a 600m at 1:45, 3 Mile Cool Down
Emily Royston: 3 Mile warm up, 4 miles @ 5:30 (5:25, 5:31, 5:32, 5:33), 8x40sec on and off, 3 Mile Cool Down
Chris: 3 Mile Warm Up, 5x1k each rep followed by 400m active jog into a 600m, 3 Mile Cool Down
