Hi, I’m Diego de la Torre, an Assistant Manager here at Heartbreak. You’ll most often find me at our original South End location.
I started running back in my freshman year of high school and went on to compete for Boston University. After graduating, I stepped away from running for a few years to build a career in hospitality. But I missed the sport too much, and that pull eventually brought me back. This time to support the running community through Heartbreak.
As I’ve returned to training, I’ve been struck by just how much the shoe game has evolved. With new models and fresh colorways dropping every week, it can feel overwhelming to keep up. That’s exactly why I started The Product Pulse: to make it easy, approachable, and fun to stay on top of what’s new.
In The Product Pulse, we’ll break down what makes each model or update unique, highlight the latest colorways, and hear from Heartbreak teammates across our three cities about their favorite shoes.
