Saysky, how do you feel about "the norm"?

Always Fresh with a capital F, Saysky has a way with words. English is not their primary designer/founder's first language but that somehow seems to sharpen his pen's ability to distill a whole vibe in a short English phrase. Lars Pederson founded the brand on the ideas of this collection. Fresh out of Copehagen, here's what's up in their words:

(TL;DR you can shop it here)

"The SAYSKY ‘Fuck the Norm’ collection is celebrating diversity. It is a motivation to be yourself. It is a positive message to follow your dreams though it might be on an unconventional path. It is a liberating message to choose happiness over normality - whatever that is.

‘Fuck the Norm’ is about embracing yourself. Who you are, your sexuality, gender, race, religion. Even what you wear or how you run. It is about caring for others and the world we live in. Choosing your own sense of direction and inviting everyone to join the ride. And not giving a fuck about the impossible and ever-changing standards of how others think you should act or behave.

It is about slapping ignorance in the face and not standing silently. It is about accepting and learning from others. Welcoming new things, reviewing comfort zones and driving innovation by being progressive. It is a reminder that humanity is best presented by the beauty of all the colors of the world.

‘Fuck’ is a strong word, but in this situation, it is used to underline the emotional emphasis of our point. ‘Fuck the Norm’ is not a negative view on norms - It is a positive view of the individual. ‘Fuck the Norm’ is NOT a ‘fuck the world’ statement – it is an inclusive message to unfuck the world and run together no matter our differences."
