Slip on the supremely comfortable Mizuno Wave Sky 7, a high cushion neutral trainer built for everyday runs. This updated daily trainer is a great option for runners looking for a little extra padding on their long runs thanks to the added 2mm of stack height.
The Wave Sky 7 has a unique midsole and is made with two different layers of foam. The top layer is made with premium Mizuno Enerzy Core foam, the softest and most bouncy foam Mizuno has to offer. On the bottom, we have a layer of Mizuno Enerzy foam that's more durable than the top layer with a little more responsiveness as well.
Another feature incorporated in the midsole is Mizuno Wave® plate technology. This pebas-based plate adds greater dynamic cushioning by distributing impact throughout the entire platform of the shoe. By efficiently absorbing and dispersing the impact of each step, the Mizuno Wave® plate adds an element of stability to create a more stable ride.
A change you'll notice just by looking at the Wave Sky 7 is the upper undergoing a sleek redesign. This smooth stretch woven upper gives a little flex as you move, wrapping your foot in a soft yet breathable hug. It's also made with sustainability in mind, built with at least 50% recycled content.
Along the outsole, Mizuno has strategically placed X10 carbon rubber to help increase the durability of the Wave Sky 7. This method also helps reduce unnecessary weight without sacrificing the longevity of the shoe. Another update Mizuno incorporated is increasing the width of the shoe by 2mm to add a touch more stability in each step.
